Blessed Stanley Rother made a mud cake with his sister. They used real eggs. In his youth he also milked cows and learned to drive a tractor when he was 10. The farm life was full of adventure and hard work. His life, from birth to death, is warmly told in a new children’s book titled, “Blessed Stanley Rother: An Extraordinary Ordinary Life.” The book is written and illustrated by his cousin Susan Rother Bond.
