Queridos Hermanos y Hermanas en Cristo,
Espero que en esta temporada de Adviento se encuentren bien y que tanto ustedes como sus seres queridos estén llenos de alegría y anticipación por la celebración del nacimiento de Cristo en Navidad. Cada año, en este tiempo, reflexiono sobre cómo la humildad del nacimiento de Jesús, nacido de María en un pobre establo de Belén, brindó esperanza, sanación y salvación a un mundo sufriente. El misterio de la Encarnación y la obra de la Redención han salvado al mundo y desatado la fuerza más poderosa para el bien en la historia de la humanidad. La Iglesia Católica ha estado en el centro de esta misión.

For the past 22 years, as autumn turns to winter, the conference room at the Catholic Charities in Enid is taken over by heaping piles of clothes and toys, including countless boxes of Legos. Eighty kids in the Enid area will be the recipients of those items. Those kids would go without the joy of presents this Christmas if not for Stacy Kurtz, Laura Maixner and their program: A Very Giving Christmas.
