The Spirituality of Widowhood

The Widows of Divine Mercy at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond will be offering a program titled The Spirituality of Widowhood to bring love and comfort in Christ through their journey. They meet monthly from 9 to 10:30 am. Visit stjohn-catholic.org/events for specific dates. They are currently offering a seven-part teaching explaining The Widow's Status in the Old Testament. This will lead to an optional consecration of widows. The class will gather at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond in the commons, and the next meeting from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 23.
