Rome, Assisi pilgrimage

Italy pilgrimage

To mark the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi (Oct. 3, 1226), the Church has proclaimed a Special Year of Saint Francis from Jan. 10, 2026, to Jan. 10, 2027. Meeting Pope Leo XIV at a Wednesday General Audience in Saint Peter's Square or the Paul VI Hall. Travel to Turin to visit the shroud of Turin. The Shroud of Turin is a great symbol of faith and hope. The image of the Shroud directly evokes the Passion and Resurrection of Christ. This is just one of the highlights; there are many other places as well.
