St. Eugene Catholic Church is seeking a full-time director of liturgy who is a skilled organist, pianist and choral director. Will provide well-prepared liturgies with an emphasis on developing a welcoming, participatory and blended worship environment which reflects and embraces the diversity of St. Eugene parishioners. Must be well-versed and fluent in leading a wide range of traditional and contemporary worship styles, including Gregorian chant, classical choral repertoire, Gospel / African American Spirituals, and current praise and worship music. Practicing Catholic in good standing with a strong understanding of Catholic liturgy. Proficiency in both organ and piano required. Bachelor's degree in music, liturgy or related field preferred. Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. Experience choral directing, in a parish liturgy or music ministry context, is highly preferred. This position will serve as the primary contact for visitors and incoming phone calls.
