As Saint John Paul II famously said, “As goes the family, so goes the nation, and so goes the entire world in which we live.”
That puts an emphasis on formation for all married couples, from newlyweds to empty nesters, to live out their vocation in holiness and joy. To promote greater formation for couples, the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and the Saint John Paul II Foundation are working together to bring the fourth annual Together in Holiness marriage enrichment conference to the archdiocese.
The conference is from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3214 N. Lake Ave. in Oklahoma City.
Previous attendees offered praise for the conference:
•“(The) Together in Holiness conference was wonderful. We don’t often have a lot of opportunities to sit together in a quiet room, so we really appreciated having a whole day set aside to be together. It’s important to invest time in a marriage so you can stay on the same page with your spouse. These conferences are an investment that can continue to yield fruit for years to come!”
•“Since our kids have left for college, our prayer life became individualized. At the conference, after we prayed together, we put a plan in place to pray together.”
Scholarships are available upon request. Also, an at-home conference experience will be offered for those who choose to participate virtually from within their own domestic church.
For those interested in attending, the full schedule, list of speakers and registration information are available at togetherinholiness.org/oklahomacity, or contact conference coordinator Taylor Briggs at [email protected] or (832) 779-1070.
