Christ the King Catholic School students set a goal for helping Infant Crisis Services.
Then they went above and beyond that goal, collecting more than 30,000 diapers and 75,000 wipes, surpassing their initial goal of 25,000 diapers and 50,000 wipes.
“We are incredibly proud of our students for their compassion and hard work,” said Jonathan Gillis, director of campus ministry at Christ the King. “This initiative reflects our commitment to serving others and making a tangible difference in the lives of infants and young children.”
On March 25, students and faculty proudly delivered the donation in a 10-foot U-Haul truck, marking the largest private contribution ever received by Infant Crisis Services. The generosity and dedication of the school community will provide critical resources to local families in need.
Infant Crisis Services, a nonprofit dedicated to providing essentials for babies and toddlers in need, expressed gratitude, projecting an estimated 746 babies and toddlers will be diapered for a week, and 872 babies and toddlers will have wipes.
