Cristo Rey Oklahoma City Catholic High School has formally appointed Kelsey Herman as president and Kinsey Genheimer, as principal, solidifying the school’s permanent leadership team following a period of transition.
Kelsey Herman, who has been serving as interim president, has been formally appointed as president by the board of directors. Her leadership builds on five years as principal at the school, along with prior experience within the national Cristo Rey Network. Herman’s understanding of the school’s mission, students and community ensures consistent leadership as Cristo Rey OKC continues to grow and serve families across Oklahoma City.
“Kelsey has demonstrated steady, mission-driven leadership during a pivotal season for our school,” said Nico Gomez, board chairman and president of Bethany Children’s Health Center. “The board’s decision to remove the interim title reflects our confidence in her ability to lead Cristo Rey OKC into its next chapter of growth and impact.”
Kinsey Genheimer, who has been serving as interim principal, has now been officially named principal. Known for her strong instructional leadership, meaningful relationships with students and faculty, and steady presence on campus, Genheimer brings a clear commitment to academic excellence and the day-to-day success of the school.
“With strong leadership in place, we remain committed to providing a faith-based, college-preparatory education combined with real-world work experience,” said Herman. “I’m grateful to partner with Genheimer as we prepare our students for college, career and lives of purpose.”
