‘Here I Am’: Annual Catholic Appeal at work

Each year, Catholics across the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City join to support the ministries that keep the Church present where it is needed most. 

Your generosity makes a difference in parishes large and small, in classrooms and campus centers, and in lives changed every day.

The 2026 Annual Catholic Appeal is guided by the words from Isaiah: “Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am.”

This passage is a reminder of something simple and powerful – when people turn to the Church seeking help, hope and guidance, we must be ready to respond.

Support of the Annual Catholic Appeal is a way to say “Here I am” to our communities.

Money raised through the Annual Catholic Appeal touches all parts of the archdiocese:

• Support for seminarians, permanent deacons and Catholic schools – preparing our future pastors, faith leaders and teachers who will serve our parish communities for decades to come. 

• Hispanic Ministry, American Indian Catholic Outreach, Youth and Young Adult programs, Marriage and Family support, Campus Evangelization and Parish Leadership – ministries that help us live, share and pass on the faith, allowing the Church to respond when someone needs guidance.

• Maintenance and support for parish facilities, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Camp and the Catholic Pastoral Center – spaces that welcome thousands each year for retreats, formation and fellowship where ministry is given the uninterrupted opportunity to grow.

• Administrative support and Safe Environment programs – these help keep parishes strong and ensure the faithful can encounter Christ in a safe and protected community.

As you consider giving to the Annual Catholic Appeal, reflect on when you have called out to God and heard him answer. Through your generosity, the Church can be the same response for someone else.

In 2025, more than 8,100 donors answered the call with a gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal, providing a record-breaking year of generosity. Together, once again we step forward in faith, ready to say, “Here I am.”
