Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School hosted its annual Magic at the Mount Gala on Feb. 7 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, raising $302,000.
The 2026 event embraced a Denim & Diamonds theme, bringing together alumni, parents, faculty and friends of The Mount for an evening of celebration, fellowship and giving. Guests arrived in true Western glam style, donning boots, hats and even sparkle, setting the tone for the night.
The evening featured live music, a formal dinner, an alumni awards ceremony and spirited silent and live auctions, resulting in donations which will be used to support Mount Saint Mary’s mission and future. Proceeds from the event directly benefit the school’s academic programs, student opportunities and the school’s capital campaign called Higher Ground: Phase II.
“For 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of watching Magic at The Mount Gala bring our community together and raise vital support for our mission,” said Chris Stiles, director of advancement at Mount Saint Mary. “Its success reflects the incredible commitment of our staff, volunteers and families. I love this community, and I never doubt their willingness to step forward for The Mount.”
The 2026 Alumni of the Year Award recipients were recognized for their outstanding contributions and lasting impact. The Spirit of the Mount Award was awarded posthumously to Ben Averyt. The Young Alumni Award was presented to Mica Martinez. The Professional Achievement Award honored Tony J. Tyler, while the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Martha McDannald. The Community Service Award was presented to Matthew J. Mollman in recognition of his dedicated service and commitment to others.
Magic at the Mount will return to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum on Feb. 13, 2027, for another unforgettable evening in support of Catholic education in Oklahoma City.
