May 15, 2025Sinsinawa Dominican Sister Pamela Mitchell, O.P., celebrates her 40th jubilee in 2025.
Born to Shirley and Lee Mitchell in Sidney, Nebraska, she made profession as a Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa in 1985. She received a BA in psychology from the University of Oklahoma, then went on to receive her Juris Doctor in law from the law school there. She earned her master’s in social work from the University of Minnesota.
Sister Pamela’s ministry has been dedicated to social work, congregation leadership and missionary work. She currently lives in community in Madison, Wisconsin.
