Valentine's Day dance

The Marriage Encounter Group of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Shawnee will hold a Valentine's Day dance 7-11 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Benedict Center of the church, 632 N. Kickapoo. Tickets are $20 per person or $40 a couple if purchased in advance or $25 and $50 at the door. Cost of the ticket includes unlimited hors d'oeuvres and beverage buffet. Attendees may bring their own wine or beer. Free nursery will be provided. All attendees are eligible for a drawing for a free get-away package at the Grand Casino and Hotel Resort. Proceeds will go towards sponsoring a couple to attend a future Marriage Encounter Weekend.
