Position Summary As an innovating, dynamic, and mission-based school which values our faculty and students. Members of the Cristo Rey OKC Faculty are primarily responsible for the implementation and development of Cristo Rey OKC’s curriculum and the success of its students. This position will also plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
What You’ll Do • Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards. • Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards. • Use assessment data and inform instructional practices. • Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions. • Provide consistent rewards and consequences for student behavior to establish and enforce rules of behavior for students in the classroom. • Participate in an annual staff orientation and training. • Prepare lessons, units, and projects to complete learning objectives in order to be accountable for students' mastery of academic standards. • Establish and communicate clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students. • Encourage students to explore learning opportunities and career paths. • Create, assign, and grade various assessments for students, including tests, quizzes, essays, and projects. • Work with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention. • Develop lesson plans and successfully instruct students in your subject area.
