On Dec. 18, the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith issued a declaration entitled Fiducia Supplicans where the media coverage may have caused some confusion. What a year! We have many blessings to be thankful for this past year. Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 28 - Feb.3, is a wonderful time to stop and consider what makes a Catholic education stand apart and the tremendous gift we have been given by its existence.
